The 31-year-old wore a backless pink Ralph and Russo gown with an intricate lace design and a dramatic train.

Former Girls Aloud singer Cheryl was fulfilling her duties as a L'Oreal ambassador at the event and it's where she met her husband Jean-Bernard a year ago.

She took to Instagram to thank her L'Oreal team for her flawless make-up, writing: "Thank you so much to my Cannes clique #teamworkmakesthedreamwork [sic]"

While JB didn't join Cheryl to pose for the waiting photographers, he was on hand to help his beautiful wife up the stairs.

Three months after meeting in France last year, Cheryl and JB married in secret on the island of Mustique.

Defending their whirlwind marriage earlier this year, Cheryl told Stella magazine: "You hear so many stories, don't you?

"People who have known each other for two weeks and they're together for 75 years, people who have been together six months and they break up. So there's no right or wrong."
