Geordie lass, Cheryl, also praised the first-time mum by adding a message for her fellow bandmate on Twitter.

She tweeted: “@KimberleyJWalsh Happy 1st Mothers Day!! You are a natural, beautiful amazing first time mother and I am so proud of you!”

Kimberley, 33, also posted a picture of herself cradling her ‘little man’ and said: “Had a lovely first Mother's Day hope all you mum's out there did too (SIC).”

Further to the Mother’s Day celebration Cheryl also posted an obligatory social media to tribute her mother, Joan Callaghan.

The 31-year-old posted the sweet snap alongside: “#HappyMothersday to my Mother and best friend. “You have one of the kindest hearts in the world and are the most selfless person I have the pleasure of knowing. I Love you.”
