Cheryl worst nightmare as Liam wants Maya to meet Bear
She stepped out dressed to the nines last week in support of Kimberley Walsh, who was making her debut in Big The Musical.
But behind her beaming smile, Cheryl was filled with worry, amid revelations that ex-boyfriend Liam Payne has officially moved on, having recently gone public with new girlfriend Maya Henry. Worse still, as Liam hit the promo trail and spoke openly about his new relationship, we’re told he’s now hoping to introduce Maya to their two-year-old son Bear. And Cheryl’s not happy.
“Cheryl’s been worried by Liam’s relationship with Maya, and can’t believe that he now wants to settle down,” an insider close to the singer told heat magazine.
“Although she hated his bachelor-like behaviour, it helped her understand why things didn’t work out between them. But it seems as though Liam’s found what he’s really been looking for. Maya is still so young at just 19, but she and Liam have apparently been talking about family plans, and Cheryl can’t help but feel hurt and upset by it.”
There’s no denying that, since they split 15 months ago, Liam’s been more active on the dating scene than Cheryl – most notably dating Naomi Campbell earlier this year. Despite only recently being pictured with Maya, he’s reportedly been seeing her for a few months, and last week spoke publicly about how “happy” she’s made him.
“She’s awesome,” the 26 year old said in an interview. “The difference with her [to other relationships] is she’s so relaxed, it helps me relax in a situation.”

But according to our source, Cheryl’s most upset over Liam’s plans for the American teen to meet Bear, something that she’s banned his previous girlfriends from doing. This time, however, she feels it’s inevitable.
“Liam has asked Cheryl to give permission for Maya to spend time with Bear,” our insider reveals. “He’s assured her that he’s serious this time. She feels as though she really can’t say no, because Liam is asking politely, but it’s tearing her apart. She’s now paranoid that she’s eventually going to get pushed out of the picture where Liam is concerned, especially if he and Maya have children together. She also finds it unfair that Liam has had an easy ride and is now settling down into a new relationship. The truth is, Cheryl worries that they gave up on their relationship too early, instead of giving it another go and maybe having another baby.”

Despite her concerns and tears, Cheryl, 36, put on a brave face last week, posing up a storm on Instagram alongside besties Kimberley and Nicola Roberts.
But as Liam lifted the lid further on their son, telling reporters about how he liked to spoil Bear with “a few naughty things” now and again, like chocolate and cookies, we’re told she’s missing the days when they were a happy family, and that she’s now feeling lonelier than ever.
“Cheryl’s trying to put herself first and shake off any feelings she has for Liam,” we’re told.
“As ever, her friends and family are rallying around her and encouraging her to get out more.
“She’s hoping that she’s going to find love by the end of the year, because she can’t take much more loneliness.”
