What’s the one thing Cheryl Fernandez-Versini gets really angry about? Being called Cheryl Cole. So imagine how Nick Grimshaw felt when he suffered a slip of the tongue during Thursday’s X Factor auditions and said “let’s go to Cheryl Cole,” when he wanted her opinion on an act.

The 30-year-old radio DJ looked mortified as their fellow judge Simon Cowell shouted “awkward” and Rita Ora said to the crowd: “I’m backing away”.

Cheryl looked seriously peeved at his slip and turned to face Nick and hissed: “Cheryl. Or Chezza.” We’re pretty sure he won’t be doing that again

The former Girls Aloud star has form with people struggling to pronounce her new married name. Last October the show’s warm up act Ian Royce got a tongue lashing from Cheryl after he struggled with pronunciation.

She said at the time: “It's not hard to pronounce my name phonetically' after he tried to joke about her lengthy new title.

“It wasn't hard to say unless you were arrogant and had no common sense.”

Miaow.
