Chezza’s new body art covers her entire lower back and features two large roses which have been designed over the top of her intricate butterfly-based tattoo.

Two years ago the singer admitted that tattoos are addictive and she wasn’t previously ‘brave’ enough to go all out on a more elaborate one.

‘If it was up to me - and I could be brave for one day - I would have my whole back done. My friends say "Cheryl, please, you might regret it" - but to me, it's art.’

While the band performed in a number of outfits, including ballerina inspired tutus; the former X Factor judge later sported a monochrome crop top to show off her new ink work.

Over on our Facebook page, Closer readers gave their opinion on the new ink with many saying they were not fans. Deborah Ryall posted 'Just too much Cheryl. Such a beautiful lady she did not need this' while Sharon Conner wrote 'shes got loads more money than us- and it sure doesnt buy taste, or class!'.

Chez has previously unveiled her tattoos publically; her ninth was during the Call My Name video where she revealed the new addition of barbed wire circling around her right thigh. Others include the Polynesian tribal design on her hand and ‘Mrs C’ on the back of the neck.

Supporting the band on their tour is former X Factor contestant Amelia Lily who has since embarked on a solo career.

The band, who found fame on Popstars: The Rivals, opened their big night with Sound Of The Underground. The Promise and The Show were among many songs featured on the list, ending the set with their version of I’ll Stand By You.

Cheryl was pleased to showcase their first gig in her hometown, delighting her fans, she said: ‘There’s nowhere in the world I’d rather be right now. Thank you so much for all your support.’

The girls tried to hold back on the tears during the course of the emotional concert with Kimberly and Cheryl sharing a hug at the end. But the encore proved too much for Sarah as she fought back her tears while admitting her feelings, gushing: ‘I’m getting emotional’.

The reunion was one to remember for the band with Kimberly who - while displaying her envious post-Strictly bod - displayed some inner emotions too, saying: ‘There’s been a lot of memories over the past ten years and a lot of history.’
