The 30-year-old singer looked like a superstar as she made her way down the red carpet in a strapless black Monique Lhuillier gown, which was corseted and had a huge train.
But newly reinstated X Factor judge Cheryl wasn’t just at the film festival to look amazing – Hollywood film bosses were also reportedly wooing her.
A source told The Sun: “Cheryl is meeting with studio bosses in Cannes. The festival is the perfect place to meet properly and talk about some offers on the table.
“She’s considering a career on the big screen, of course, but only if the part is right. She wouldn’t go for anything lightly and would make sure she was fully trained and prepped for the job.”
It seems that if Cheryl is after a career in acting, she’s going to have to learn how to juggle her outstanding work commitments, with the source adding: “The problem is now she has another record ready for release and is back on The X Factor as a judge, any film work would have to be after that.”
Meanwhile, reports suggest that Cheryl could be growing closer to BFF Kimberley Walsh’s brother Adam.
An insider told the Mirror: “They’ve always got on well, but previously Adam lived up in Yorkshire and their paths have gone in different directions.
“Now he’s based in London and she’s back in town a lot ahead of going back to The X Factor, so things just seem to be falling into place. It’s early days but watch this space.”
