Cheryl lopped off her glossy curls a few months ago in favour of a more grown up do, but on Sunday the X Factor judge looked to have gone even shorter.

Looking natural and elfin in a snap posted to her social media page, Cheryl showed off a choppy bob with curls starting from her cheekbones and ending at her jawline.

But has Cheryl gone for an even shorter look or is her ‘do just pinned up? Either way, we love the way this look highlights her delicate facial features.

Cheryl is currently in the throes of filming the X Factor, but she doesn’t look to have let her hectic schedule get in the way of her hair and beauty regime - looking glowing during every TV and red carpet appearance.

So what are the secrets behind Cheryl’s groomed look?

According to the 32-year-old, no one comes near her perfectly groomed brows, after a series of disasters left her scared of trusting anyone to them. Instead, she grooms them herself when she’s straight out of a hot shower - so it’s less painful.

Secondly, Cheryl swears by a good cleansing regime - saying she’ll use make up wipes to take the first layers off before using a flannel of Muslin cloth to thoroughly cleanse the rest of the face.

But Cheryl herself says that it’s actually what she puts into her body, rather than on it, which has the greatest effect on her look.

She told Marie Claire: ‘You can pixel perfect your skin until the cows come home but if you're eating McDonalds every day, chances are you're not going to have great skin. I drink loads of water, I exercise. I'm just sensible about it, it's common sense. For the skin itself ultimately it is cleansing and having the right active ingredients.’
