Cheryl, 30, who is set to release new solo music this year, has been offered the chance to debut it on the popular talent show, according to a UK newspaper.
A source told them: “Cheryl has been offered all the major TV shows to perform her first single.
“Simon has offered her a very tempting spot on the show and it would also be a massive draw for the series to land her first live performance in a couple of years.”
The offer comes after it was claimed Simon begged Cheryl to return to her judging spot on the ITV talent show.
It is claimed he offered her final say on who the rest of the judges are and even offered the singer her own record label.
Reportedly top of Cheryl’s list to fill the remaining seats on the panel are former runner-up Olly Murs, songwriter Sia and Black Eyed Peas star Fergie.
Louis Walsh, who is the only judge who has been on every series of The X Factor since it started 10 years ago, is apparently not on the former Girls Aloud star’s wish list.
