The 46-year-old appeared on the Jonathan Ross show with 15-year-old daughter Megan sitting in the studio audience.

However her pride soon turned to embarrassment, when her father made a little revelation about what he had been up to with her 13-year-old brother Jack.

Speaking to host Jonathan, Gordon admitted:

'Son, here’s twenty quid, go and target your big sister’s room and put in that camera'

‘Megan’s 15, she’s here tonight with her boyfriend.

‘They’ve been spending a lot of time in her room recently. But revising.

‘Revising … They seem to be spending a lot of time revising and yet the results aren’t …

‘I’ve been a bit naughty over the last couple of weeks because I got Jack a little Go-Pro. One of those little secret cameras.’

Speaking of how he paid his son to install the Go-Pro camera in secret, he continued:

‘So I said to him, “Look mate, here’s twenty quid, go and target your big sister’s room and put that camera right at the top left-hand side of the wardrobe”.’

'Megan, I’d like to talk to you about your revising …’

Before jokingly adding: ‘So, Megan, I’d like to talk to you about your revising …’

Gordon, who also has 13-year-old twin daughter Holly and 11-year-old Matilda from his 16 year marriage to 38-year-old Tana, may well come under fire for his controversial parenting technique.

Last year a US college student Aubrey Ireland was granted a civil stalking order against her parents due to their overprotective behaviour that included installing monitoring software on her electronics.
