Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby has revealed that she would feel ‘ashamed’ by her body and ‘constantly covered up’ prior to her dramatic weight loss.

The 24-year-old shed four stone last year after she saw images of herself in a bikini last year.

Charlotte admitted that she had allowed herself to eat unhealthily and grow into bad diet habits, including indulging in whole pints of fattening Bailey’s.

After hiring a personal trainer and overhauling her diet, Charlotte showed off her new body at the end of last year, wowing her fans.

To celebrate how far she’s come, Charlotte has posted an emotional message on her Instagram promising herself not to return to her old ways.

She wrote: “About 1 year ago, I constantly covered you up! And didn't look after you. I felt ashamed □ but with hard work determination and #3minutebellyBlitz, you brewed up a STORM ⚡️ and now your here in all your glory! It is my PROMISE to you to show you off as often as I can!!! And that includes all over my instagram. Lots of love Charlotte □.”

Posing in skimpy pyjamas, Charlotte certainly looks like she doesn’t need to lose any more weight, instead focusing on being healthy and strong.

A source close to the star recently told Closer: “Charlotte is in the best shape of her life. She feels like a different person and has been given a new lease of life. A year ago, she felt horrendous showing off her body on the beach. Now she’s in shape, she says she’s determined never to go back.”
