As the reality star shocks with her latest look, two experts explain why they think she can't stop altering her appearance
Charlotte Crosby sparked concern among fans last week – with some begging her to stop having surgery – when she unveiled a shocking “new” face on a trip to Brazil.
Sporting a slim nose, hollow cheeks and wonky lips, the 28 year old was compared by some fans to the creepy Momo character that was being used to terrify kids via WhatsApp.

One concerned fan commented, "In my opinion, it’s an aspect of self-harm and requires psych intervention. There also needs to be a closer scrutiny of the ‘medics’ who assist these vulnerable youngsters in their decision to mutilate themselves with these procedures."
Another added, "She was a pretty girl, now she’s pumped full of plastic."
The former Geordie Shore star has admitted to a nose job, boob job and fillers – with her lips once bursting during an interview in 2016, due to too much filler.
Despite public concern, she remains defiant, previously saying, "I have no regrets over my surgery. I’m a lot more confident. I never went over the top."
We talked to two experts who disagree. Top surgeon Mark Ho-Asjoe believes Charlotte has now had filler put into her chin, and Botox in her forehead to elongate her face. This, coupled with her weight loss, has caused a hollow, drooping effect on her skin, with it pulling at the lip area.
Mark adds, "She is only 28 but, after everything she’s had done to her face, she won’t ever be able to return to how she used to look.
"She has lost perspective of how she looks and will compare herself to the last time she had work done, and want to alter her appearance from there – she could well be addicted to changing her appearance."

Closer’s psychological therapist, Emma Kenny, tells us that Charlotte is stuck in a “vicious cycle” when it comes to surgery.
"Her situation is typical in that, every time she feels bad about herself, she gets work done," says Emma. "She’s looking more like a caricature, which means she hears negative comments about herself – so she gets more surgery.
"I think the issue started when Charlotte lost weight. She saw the attention she was getting, and believed she could make money and stay in the public eye by being pretty and slim.
"She learned she could use her body as currency in showbiz, so now she keeps making these tweaks, because she has others to compete against in the industry. Sadly, though, her need to keep chasing that ‘fame high’ is ruining her looks."
