Charlotte Church, 28, has revealed she's running out of money - and, despite ebbing worth £25 million in 2003, will have to work for the rest of her adult life.

"I will have to work for the rest of my life. Not because I want to but because I have to"

Talking to BBC One Wales, Charlotte said: "I will have to work for the rest of my life. Not because I want to but because I have to.

"I always understood that all that stuff isn't important and my career was not the be and end all."

Last year she was reported to have just £8 million left of her fortune, which would mean she had spent a whopping £17 million.

And, on the show, she joked she had even less than that.

The former classical singer said: "The tax man is looking at my accounts wondering where I'm hiding all my money."

Charlotte added: "My life is so full and so rich I definitely feel like I've had the good side of the deal."

Earlier this yea, Charlotte told Stylist magazine that she wanted to find a way to sustain her "unreasonable" lifestyle.

"I haven't got a lot of money. I've got enough to be comfortable if I was reasonable for the rest of my life, but I'm not reasonable, so I will have to find a way to sustain my lifestyle."

Charlotte Church: In Her Own Voice airs on BBC One Wales on July 12.
