Laura Anderson has broken her silence on the split of her Love Island co-stars Charlie Brake and Ellie Brown, revealing the brutal way by which Charlie broke up with her pal.
She said that Charlie released a statement on the split without Ellie's knowledge, and that she was blindsided by the announcement while on a night out at The Best Heroes Awards, which was was attending with Laura.
Laura told The Sun: “She’s fine now but she had no idea whatsoever that was coming.
“I was with her and she just burst into tears.
“I don’t understand it. He did not go about it in the right way in my opinion. It was wrong.”

Charlie announced their split on his Instagram stories, writing: "Just to inform you all, Ellie and I have decided to part ways.
"I wish her all the best!"
Ellie subsequently released a statement saying: "Hi guys.
"Firstly I just want to say a massive thank you to everybody who has sent me lots of love since Tuesday...
"I am trying to deal with this as best and as quietly as possible but it is hard...

"By no means am I saying I was the perfect girlfriend but I adored Charlie from the bottom of my heart and he knows that.
