This new series of one hour live debates follows the successful The Big Benefits Row: Live and The Big British Immigration Row: Live, the former brought the channel 2.6m viewers with an 8.9% share.
The Big 'Can't Pay' Debate: Live
Focusing on the fact that British families owe more than at any time in history - £1.4 trillion, which works out as an average debt of £54,000 per household - this debate will ask whose fault this debt is and whether credit card companies and banks encourage us to spend.
The Big Fat Row: Live
Should obese people get free NHS treatment for weight-loss surgery? Should there be a tax on junk food? Should overweight people pay more for their airplane tickets? This debate will cover all those topics and more - and we've no doubt Katie Hopkins will be making an appearance.
Guy Davies, Commissioning Editor of Factual at Channel 5, explained: "Viewers want to see these topics thrown into the bull ring, and broadcasting them live really makes Channel 5 feel alive.
"These key issues attract heat and vigorous argument on all sides, and as before these rows will be raw, passionate and relevant," says Guy Davies Commissioning Editor: Factual at Channel 5."
The Big 'Can't Pay' Debate: Live will air on Monday 17th March at 10pm on Channel 5. Will you be watching?
