Channel 4 are launching a show called The Jump, which will feature celebrities learning how to perform various winter sports.

The best part is, Davina McCall is presenting the show! Speaking of her new show, she said: “The Jump is going to be amazing- the scenery, the challenge and the sheer grit needed to compete will make it gripping viewing!”

The 10-part series will see celebrities such as Amy Childs, hairdresser Nicky Clarke, Sinitta and Sam Jones AKA Flash Gordon face their fears in the mountains of Europe.

Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards will mentor the celebs as they learn the ropes in winter sports. He said: “This competition is as much about mental strength as it is about physical agility.

“Winter sports are tough to master. It takes skill, guts and determination to get round a course. The ultimate test will be The Jump itself. I know how hard it can be when the world is watching.”

Other celebs making up the 12 taking part include Tara Palmer-Tompkinson and former Pussycat Doll Kimberley Wyatt and they will all be competing in activities such as ski jumping, bobsleighing, skeleton and slalom.

As well as that, they will be battling the icy conditions throughout Europe and they will be shown the ropes by Olympians and experts.

The Jump is set to air early next year!
