Chanelle Hayes has vowed to lose weight after being forced to go on painkillers because of her larger size.
The former Big Brother housemate - who is now a size 18 - previously insisted she was happy with a fuller figure, but she's now admitted her weight gain is having an impact on her health.
During an appearance on This Morning, she admitted: “I’m an 18 now, I’m too heavy. I’m on painkillers now because I’m too heavy for my frame.
“I can barely get up with my back. And it’s more so when my left knee is hurting. I'm getting out of breath doing things, that’s not cool.”
Chantelle - who previously exercised regularly, but now admits she doesn't have the energy to play with her son, Blakely - revealed that the positive reaction to her increased size last time she was on the show is partly to blame for her weight gain as it gave her the confidence to relax.
She explained: “I think I went the other way when people said I looked good and if I don’t go to the gym, I eat horrendously.”
Chanelle added that she is experiencing back pain, leg pain, is on the verge of being diagnosed with diabetes and her menstrual cycle is not in sync.
