Chanelle Hayes bravely spoke out about the breakdown of her relationship with Ryan Oates only six weeks after giving birth on Loose Women earlier today.

Chanelle, who turned 30 last week, appeared on the show to discuss her recent break-up - something she revealed on her social media pages.

The mum-of-two only gave birth to baby Frankie in September, but as he turned six-weeks-old, his father Ryan broke things off with Chanelle.

She appeared on Loose Women earlier today to open up about what had gone on, but poor Chanelle couldn't make it through the interview without breaking down in tears.

She revealed that Ryan was still being there for the children, but Chanelle heartbreakingly confessed that she wished they were still together.

Viewers also got to hear Ryan's side of the story for the first time, as the Loose Women had contacted him.

They read out a statement from him which read: "Chanelle has presented a selective account of our relationship which doesn't necessarily reflect the truth.

"I wish for these personal matters to remain private and will continue to keep my sole focus on doing my very best for both Frankie and Blakely."

But unfortunately, despite Chanelle's heartbreaking admission on the show, her appearance did not go down well with Twitter users.

Other sympathetic viewers thought it was too soon for her to go on the show.

But poor Chanelle couldn't sit back, and hit out at some particularly nasty comments on Twitter.

Two Twitter users who were discussing her segment spoke less than favourably about Chanelle, with one writing: "Why is she on the programme, it has happened to most of us."

Another person replied, writing: "I have no idea either but I hope she’s smiling soon whoever she is," to which the initial commenter wrote: "Wait until she loses a loved one then. She will know what heartache is."

But the thoughtless comment had disastrous consequences - as Chanelle's mother was killed when she was just a baby.

She hit back, writing: "My mum was murdered when I was a child. Don’t tell me I’ve not lost anybody."

She was then inundated with supportive comments from fans, with one writing: "Omg that's awful. Chanelle lost her mum at a very young age. Unless you know personal things about people you shouldn't comment such a nasty stuff."

Another wrote: "My heart goes out to you," whilst one other wrote: "Don't listen to them honey, I thought you were honest and open and I hope you keep your chin up sweetheart."
