Fans of the show have been demanding the rules – which state clearly that celebs cannot match with each other and must find love with a member of the public – be bent for Olivia Attwood and Sam Craske, whose romantic relationship has been bubbling away throughout the season.
Olivia first found fame on Love Island 2017, but her relationship with Chris Hughes wasn’t built to last and she was planning on heading to the show’s finale in Crete with civilian dater, Tommy.

But after Diversity dancer Sam Craske – who used to date Little Mix’s Jesy Neilson – dropped the bombshell that he would have liked to take her to the finale instead of his date, the wheels were set in motion for the two to FINALLY get it on.
Speaking to her gal pals ahead of the final mixer, Olivia admitted that she got ‘butterflies’ around Sam and that she didn’t know how to move forward, considering the strict rules of the show.
But on the night, the couple had to follow their hearts and turned up to the event arm in arm, with Olivia telling the matchmakers, “I’m so happy – it’s really cringe!”
Fans took to Twitter in their droves to congratulate the two of them and express their relief that they finally hooked up.
