Steph, 22, and 25-year-old have been seen flirting and sharing a bed in the Celebrity Big Brother house, and the hunky Irishman even told her to stop being so ‘frisky’.

Worried for her relationship with First Dates star Sam, Hollyoaks actress Steph confided in Megan McKenna and later broke down in the diary room about how she could be perceived on the outside.

Despite Steph promising to keep her distance from Jeremy, he seems to have other ideas. He told Big Brother: “She’s a gorgeous girl, she’s sound, of course I flirt with her.

“It’s going to get worse. She’s so funny. It feels like a proper genuine connection in here. I’m a flirt, I’m a single bloke. I can’t get away from it, attraction isn’t a choice.”

And it appears seeing his girlfriend with the former Mr Ireland became too much for Sam. Last night he tweeted: “Hi everyone, I will no longer be supporting Stephanie Davis… Thanks for all your support and the love you have given me!! [sic].”

Now, following Steph’s drunken kiss with Jeremy, Michelle Heaton has launched a petition to get Sam in the house in order to confront his former flame.

The Liberty X singer tweeted: “Looking forward to going on #CBBBOTS unite.. Gonna start my campaign to get @SamReece in that house and sort it out! Lol @bbuk [sic].”
