Linda Nolan and Jim Davidson famously clashed on Celebrity Big Brother, but we never realised how serious their arguments were.

Speaking after her eviction, Linda has claimed she was left a broken woman because of her and Jim's explosive rows - and says that she secretly cut her right wrist while she was inside the house.

Speaking to the Daily Star, Linda explained that she hadn't self-harmed for two years and blamed the comic for pushing her over the edge: "I've self-harmed in the past and I did it in the house. I hadn't done it since 2012.

"But that's what Jim's behaviour made me do. He made me feel the need to do it again."

Jim left Linda in tears when he told Luisa to ask Linda about "Frank Carson's dressing room", which was later revealed to be in reference to a time when the Nolan sister's late husband Brian Hudson stole cash from Frank Carson at a Blackpool gig in 1995.

Linda said that Jim's comment reminded her that she would never again feel her husband's arms around her, saying: "After Brian died [seven years ago] I self-harmed for more than two years.

"Back then I was very low and went through periods of feeling very suicidal.

"The only reason I went back to that dark place was because Jim brought me there by bringing up what happened.

"He reminded me Brian wasn't going to be there to put his arms around me and make everything okay."

Jim later apologised for the comment, but Linda says she will never be able to forgive Brian for what he did:

"He knew it would get to me. When he apologised it made me feel sick. He can't be sorry for it because he knows he shouldn't have said it. It's unforgivable."
