Danniella Westbrook admits: ‘I swapped drugs for cosmetic surgery addiction’

The 41-year-old, who is currently taking part in Celebrity Big Brother, stopped taking the class A drug and instead turned to cosmetic surgery – as documented on Channel 5’s Celebrity Botched Up Bodies last night.

Speaking on the show, mum-of-two Danniella said: “When I got over a drug addiction, I then swapped that addiction for a cosmetic surgery addiction.”

Former EastEnders actress Danniella had her 34DD great implants removed on the show, and she blamed Pamela Anderson for making her boost her natural 34B boobs.

She said: “Pamela Anderson exploded on to the scene and I was like, ‘holy moly who is she? I want to look like you!’ Then this whole plasticy image came along and I wanted that in my life.

“I was thinking that needs doing, this needs doing, the boobs need doing… I was crazy about looking right.”

And Danniella – who shot to fame as Peggy Mitchell’s gobby daughter Sam – confessed she begged the surgeon for the implants even though he wasn’t sure.

She added: “He said this isn’t going to look right, you’re too small, your body frame’s not right… but I didn’t care I literally begged him to do it. I went huge like footballs, I thought they were great.”

One surgical procedure Danniella absolutely had to have was after her coke addiction eroded her nasal septum.

“When I had my nose rebuilt, that was a necessity because that was surgery that was needed.”

During the documentary Danniella also opened up about losing her teeth in a car accident, and visited a dental clinic to discuss getting implants.

The dentist told Danniella he is worried her bones aren’t strong enough to support the veneers – because of her heavy smoking habit.
