But, while the 42-year-old is safely tucked away on the show, the person running her Twitter account has caused outrage with a post glamourising the use of class A drugs.
A tweet reposted onto Danneilla’s timeline read: “Everyone vote @westbrookdanni she’s going to buy a substantial amount of cocaine if she wins and throw a big party [sic].”
The former EastEnders star’s followers were quick to slam the post, insisting it was damaging to Danniella’s career.
One user blasted: “Why would you RT this ridiculous tweet for Danniella? Who is running her Twitter? Wrong and damaging! Delete! [sic].”
A rep for the mum-of-two told MailOnline: “The retweet was up for literally three seconds, before we realised what had happened and took it down.
“We get hundreds, if not thousands of tweets every evening and we have three people on her social media team working on it while she’s in the house.”
Danniella – who shot to fame as EastEnders’ Sam Mitchell – has had a very public battle with cocaine.
She was written out of the soap in 1996 due to her addiction, which later eroded her nasal septum.
Last year Danniella revealed she’d relapsed and, despite getting clean again, admitted she’d always be an addict.
