Jim Davidson and Linda Nolan's spat on Celebrity Big Brother has made for entertaining viewing, but, after last night's spat, fans of the comedian have taken things too far.
Linda's sister, Coleen - who presents Loose Women - was targeted for hours by vile Twitter trolls during and after last night's programme in which her elder sis insisted Jim should stop "being nice" and "two-faced" to her.
Linda was also caught up in a furious spat between Luisa Zissman and Ollie Locke after she recommended the former Made in Chelsea star "grow some balls" and remarked that his heartfelt speech after the face-to-face nominations made her "feel sick".
However, while Linda is - for now - unaware of how viewers have reacted to her behaviour, poor Coleen has been subjected to some absolutely obscene attacks on Twitter.
One, under the guise of @HaycheP, wrote: "Silly bitch stirring s*** 24/7. She's a f****** mess and needs putting down"
Another, named Teri McClung, raged: "Omg I hope ppl throw eggs at that bitter f****** hag when she gets evicted tmoro!! Miserable old cow needs serious help!@NolanColeen"
@KRS_W said: "@NolanColeen your sister is a c***"
However, despite the torrent of abuse, Coleen remained calm, cool and collected, reassuring concerned fans that she was "fine":
Poor Coleen. We hope those vile Twitter trolls button it and stop subjecting her to such vile messages.
