Most people know by now that Larry's son is the infamous (and very gorgeous) BT Sport presenter and former Big Brother's Little Brother host George Lamb. The pair are good pals and have an amazing father-son relationship.

George has recently described his dad as a ‘caveman’ and reckons he’s gonna be able to survive pretty well in the jungle camp..

He told Daily Mirror: "My old man is like a cave man.

"He loves being outside and making fires and all that stuff. He won't be bothered about sleeping rough. He likes an adventure.

"For his 60th birthday we went up the Himalayas - we've been talking about doing it again for his 70th, when he's back."

Larry Lamb family

Larry does also have three daughters Vanessa, Eloise and Eva-Mathilde. He has a long-term partner, Clare Burt.

Larry has always been open about his troubled upbringing, having appeared on Who Do You Think You Are earlier this year. During the programme, Larry found out that his mother was adopted and learned more about the grandparents that he never met.

Larry recently had a heart to heart with fellow jungle campmate Wayne Bridge, revealing that he was the product of a one-night stand.

He explained: "I grew up in North London but my parents were just... unbelievable.

"They met at a party, and 9 months later to the day, I was born."

He then revealed even more about his upbringing: "They fought for the first 9 years of my life, and then my mother took my baby sister and left, leaving my brother and me with my father.

"When it comes to what I've come through, I was product of two strangers who met and didn’t realise they were starting a family. It all went very wrong very quickly, and everyone involved has had a big price to pay."

Larry Lamb facts

*A few years ago, he contracted malaria from a mosquito bite in Africa which affected the nerve endings in his ear, and now has 80 percent hearing loss. Which could be a blessing when you're in the jungle surrounded by noisy bugs and celebs, right?

    Larry Lamb EastEnders

Larry’s portrayal of the evil Archie Mitchell, the father of Ronnie and Roxy Mitchell, won him a National Soap Award back in 2010.

He based his portrayal of Archie on his own father.

He said: "My dad was a very screwed-up man and emotionally damaged from his childhood."

"He had a terrible relationship with his own father and I imagine it was the same for the generations before that. Just like Archie, my dad was absolutely convinced of his rightness and his sanity and thought he was completely justified in everything he did. Everybody else is at fault, but he's fine. Archie is the same. As far as he's concerned, he's perfectly sane. But the truth is, he's twisted."

Here's Archie at his most evil:

His exit storylines inspired one of the biggest whodunnits in soap history, where Stacey Slater was revealed as his killer after he brutally raped her.

What a contrast! Here's Larry as Mick Shipman, the loveliest man in the whole entire world.

Who else compares their mum and dad to this HILARIOUS pair? Same...
