It’s no secret that behind any successful marriage is a lot of hard work.
Just last week, David Beckham revealed that although his relationship with Victoria may look perfect from the outset, they too have to work through the kinks.
When Coleen Nolan left the Celebrity Big Brother house last night, there was only one thing on her mind.
Despite taking the title and beating all the other housemates to win the show, Coleen was keen to talk about how much she wanted her marriage to Ray Fensome to work.
In a candid chat during an episode of In Therapy she opened up about the issues she is facing in her marriage, and since entering the house was vocal about the time apart from her husband being a trial separation.
Upon leaving the house, the 51-year-old Loose Woman told Celebrity Big Brother host Emma Willis: “It’s made me realise how much I do need him in my life.
“Because when things did happen in the house that were hard and were sad, all my housemates were brilliant.”
However, due to Ray’s musical commitments, he was unable to attend the final last night to see his wife crowned as the winner.
Coleen and Ray have been married for 17 years, and Coleen has been praised for going on national television and talking about their problems.
Not only is it refreshing to see someone talking so frankly about their marriage issues, but it also relieves us of the pressure we often feel to act as though our relationships are perfect.
Talking in the Diary Room, she had previously said: “I came in here when my marriage is not great, really not great. What has been good about this is we needed the break, we needed to be apart.
“What has been nice in here is there has been so many times I have missed him.”
We hope it all works out for you both!
