Fans of Celebrity Big Brother's Bit On The Side have been left reeling former CBB housemate Luisa Zissman made a shocking comment about dousing Jemma Lucy in acid.

Luisa, 30, who is currently pregnant with her third child, appeared on the sister show presented by Rylan Clark-Neal last night alongside Kerry Katona.

The pair were discussing controversial reality TV star Jemma Lucy, who has been causing quite a stir in the Celebrity Big Brother house during her time so far.

Luisa had already verbally attacked Jemma, saying earlier on in the show: "She should be so non-existent. I just hate her! She's just so awful I don't know who created her!"

Which are pretty strong views considering it's likely that they've never met.

Later on, Kerry declared that she thought: "Jemma looks like she needs a good wash," which prompted Luisa to quickly jump in and shockingly say: "In acid!"

The other stars on the show chose not to react to Luisa's comment, and Rylan expertly moved things along rather quickly.

But many viewers were shocked and appalled by Luisa's comments, especially given that the UK is going through something of a crisis with acid attacks at the moment.

But despite the criticism, Luisa remains indignant about her comments.

Speaking exclusively to Closer Online this morning, she said: "The PC brigade strikes again. Soon we will ban sarcasm. Clearly it was a flippant comment, if people don't understand that they really need to take a chill pill.

"There is a difference between speaking figuratively and literally. Unfortunately, the level of intelligence from Twitter users deems them thinking it was a literal comment. Clearly it wasn't - people's stupidity never ceases to amaze me. Perhaps I would have been better off being in the public eye in the swinging 60's!"

She also insisted that received lots of support for her comments, telling us: "A ot of people also agreed with me in fact I received 99% positive tweets and around 3 negative tweets.

"So generally I wouldn't agree with the statement that ppl said it was harsh."

Following our conversation, Luisa retweeted tweets from viewers who had agreed with what she said.

Luisa, who is known for being very outspoken anyway, has been very vocal on Twitter about this year's series of the show.

Last Wednesday, she tweeted that she hadn't watched any of this series so far, and was already making jibes at Jemma.

And only the next day, she expressed concerns for the housemates, likening them to "psychiatric patients."
