In the run up to the final on Friday, Essex girl Gemma was booted from the house last night, losing out to housemates Danniella Westbrook and Stephanie Davis.
But the outspoken blonde seemed content leaving the haunt, telling pals "It's my time to go," and it seems the public were even happier to see Gemma make her exit.
As she departed and made her way to host Emma Willis, the reality star was drowned in loud boos from the crowd.
But despite the unpleasant welcome back into the real world, a resilient Gemma told Emma:
"I take it as a compliment."
She elaborated: "I suppose there is always going to be a pantomime villain. So this doesn't bother me one bit."
And the self-confessed villain also admitted that she did stir up trouble in the house, simply due to boredom.
She told Emma:
"I was living in that house for 24 hours a day with the same people. It gets so boring. I had to make mischief in there just to keep my mind busy."
But feisty Gemma asserted that viewer can't judge her for such behaviour until they experience life in the house themselves.
However, it seems there's no regrets from the TOWIE star, and she assured viewers:
"I'm not gutted I didn't make it to the final because I am really happy with my life. I've enjoyed what I've achieved so far. I am my own woman."
"For me, it was a massive thing to come in here. I didn't walk out, I managed to stay for the four weeks and I learned some things about myself in there and I'm happy with my life and what I've achieved so far."
Welcome back to the outside world, Gemma.
