And speaking to Closer 11 years on, Danielle says Roxanne needs to face the music and own up to her actions.

“I made mistakes on CBB and I owned up to them and was truly sorry. But I wasn’t calculating or manipulative, like I believe Roxanne was - I was just young and naïve. The public backlash can be harsh. I know how it is to feel like everyone is against you. But in Roxanne’s case, she needs to be held accountable for her actions if there’s any chance of her learning from this.”

And Danielle insists the really scandal really hit a nerve for her after suffering an abusive relationship in her teens.
“Roxanne’s behaviour really upset me. I’ve been in a violent relationship and it felt like she was making a mockery of actual victims. This is going to make women who have actually been assaulted feel even more nervous to come forward."
