Natasha Hamilton might be favourite to win this year’s series of Celebrity Big Brother, but things haven’t been easy for the mum-of-four.

And Ritchie Neville, with whom she shares baby daughter Ella Rose, has made no secret of the fact he’s been missing his girl.

So we were VERY excited when, yesterday, he tweeted: “Watch #BBOts tonight, I'm going into the BB house!!! That's gonna be a trip.”

And, when a fan quizzed if he was being serious, he had a pretty snappy response.

Well, that told her.

So was there any truth to Ritchie’s claims?

Well, for fans who tuned into Celebrity Big Brother’s Bit On The Side, they DID see Ritchie Neville - along with the friends and family of other contestants - enter the house.

Unsurprisingly, Natasha was absolutely beside herself when she saw her man… although, this being Big Brother, there was a cruel twist to their happy reunion.

Yup, you guessed it; they were kept apart by a sheet of soundproof glass.

“I’d like to remind you that you need to stay in your designated area,” warned Rylan Clark.

As Natasha desperately mouthed an ‘I love you’ at the 5ive singer, unable to hear a single word he was saying, Ritchie opened up about his beautiful girlfriend.

“It’s been a roller coaster,” he said. “I’d love to say it’s been great, but it hasn’t always been great.

“It’s been tense, it’s been intense… and, yeah, I’m just looking forward to tomorrow.”

And then, for just ten sweet seconds, he was allowed to speak to her directly.

Clearly emotional, the dad-of-one said: “Baby, you’ve done exactly what you said you were gonna do; you’ve been yourself.

“Keep it up.”

And, with just moments to spare, he added: “I never thought it was as possible to love anyone as much as I love you. And I can’t wait to see you tomorrow.”

Yup, Natasha was in tears - and Rylan was almost caught up in all the emotion, too.

“You’ve almost set me off,” he said, fanning his eyes with his hands.

N’aww - aren’t they the sweetest?
