You’d be forgiven for assuming Catherine Tyldesley has never had to work at her figure.
The 33-year-old actress has a killer body and seemed to regain her figure effortlessly after the birth of her first child Alfie in 2015.
But despite appearances, the Coronation Street star has revealed it didn’t come easy.
In fact, Catherine was a size 22 in her teenage years and has had to work hard to get to the size 8-10 she is today, made clear by the intense workouts she documents on Instagram.
Speaking to The Mirror about her previous weight of 15 stone, she revealed, “When I look at pictures of myself from that time, it doesn't look like me. I was a different person.
“In terms of body shape, I’m the smallest I’ve ever been. I've got nothing to complain about, I'm healthy.”
Catherine managed to lose weight by changing her lifestyle, but reached her slimmest size after the birth of Alfie.
Her secret? Keeping an old photo of herself to keep her motivated.
Speaking to Best, she said, "I actually keep a picture from when I was big on my phone to remind myself just how far I’ve come.”
It’s clearly working!
Meanwhile, Catherine has been forced to deny rumours she had decided to leave Corrie for good.
After revealing she would take a temporary break from the show, The Sun reported she had decided not to return, which she quickly denied.
