The baby is the couple’s fourth child. Cate and playwright Andrew are already parents to three sons Dashiell, 13, Roman, 10 and Ignatius, 6.

Australian-born Cate and Andrew married back in 1997, making their marriage one of the longest and strongest in Hollywood.

Cate won the Oscar for Best Actress for her role in Blue Jasmine last year, but has gained tremendous respect as an actress throughout her career.

Congratulations, Cate and family!
