Presenter Cat, 39, took to Twitter to share their happy news, revealing she welcomed the baby boy last week.

She gushed: “Beyond delighted to announce the birth of our baby boy last week. All doing well & we couldn’t be happier… 3 really is the magic number! [sic].”

Patrick, 44, and So You Think You Can Dance host Cat confirmed they were expecting their first child in September.

At the time she tweeted: “Exciting news… Paddy and I are so happy to be expecting our first child in the spring… Lucky us.”

The couple have been married for three years, and were friends for over a decade before they finally got together.

Radio host Patrick previously opened up about their relationship and admitted there was always a spark between them.

He said: “There was always a little bit of a spark between us but either she was with someone or I was with someone and by the time we were both single she was in America. It was always one of those things that never worked out.”

Cat has hosted So You Think You Can Dance since 2006 while Patrick continued to work in the UK. Despite this, he insisted they never spend more than two weeks apart.

“We only plan two or three months in advance, because we want to be together – it’s a nice way to live.”

Congratulations to Cat and Patrick!
