Caroline, 36, and 31-year-old Olly have always denied there’s anything romantic between them, despite their obvious chemistry when presenting The X Factor together.
Now former Strictly Come Dancing champion Caroline has confirmed our suspicions. Speaking to You Magazine, she said: “Me and Olly have a lovely relationship. it’s a weird chemistry.
“We have the innate understanding of one another – we don’t fancy each other and yet we don’t not fancy each other.”
Caroline added: “We’re not girlfriend and boyfriend, yet we’re not totally platonic either.”
BUT WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?! In case you were wondering, platonic means to be ‘intimate and affectionate but not sexual’. So if Caz and Olly AREN’T platonic…
Olly is newly single after splitting from long-term girlfriend Francesca Thomas earlier this year, and Caroline also called time on her relationship with Jack Street during the summer.
A few years ago, former X Factor runner-up Olly admitted the only reason he’d never gone there with Caroline was because he didn’t want to make things awkward on-screen.
He told The Sun: “She’s a lovely girl to be around and she’s just brilliant. The only thing I worried about was that it was going to affect out relationship on camera.”
Can these two just hurry up and get married, please?
