Former Loose Women panelist Carol McGiffin has gone on an Twitter rant after being snubbed from the special 18th birthday reunion show today.
The Loose Women veteran has appeared in 1,174 episodes, but was snubbed for other panelists - including Sherrie Hewson, Kerry Katona and Karren Brady from the first ever panel.
And she didn't seem happy about the rejection. When one Twitter user wrote, "I hope @McGiff will be there xx', the ex-panelist replied: "Don't be daft Aaron, I only did 13 years and over 1,000 shows, why would I even be asked???!!!"
Awkward...
She then shared one of Loose Women's promotional tweets, savagely adding: "Yeah, don't miss the show because sooooo many of those 'incredible' women won't be on it!"
And it didn't take her fans long to rally alongside her. One wrote: Carol I was shocked to see you were not involved this week, you were always my favourite , shame on you all at Loose Women."
While another added: "It's not a proper celebration without you Carol. Hope your well xx"
And when one fan asked why she'd not got an invite, she jokily responded: "Dunno. Maybe it's because We (the old gang) left and the show stopped winning awards? Who knows? X"
Carol then sarcastically tweeted: "Happy 18th Birthday @loosewomen hope you're not missing me too much!!! #LooseWomen18"
Before adding that she was "Not furious, not surprised, just a teeny bit sad :(." Awwww.
And it seems like it isn't just Carol whose feeling left out. Her old co-panelist Denise Welch shared her tweets referring to the lack of invite, in a seeming act of camaraderie.
Kay Adams hosted today's show, and mentioned the pair in passing, saying that Carol and Denise were "wonderful women".
While it has been rumoured that Carol might be returning to the show in the past, this response would certainly make for a frosty reunion.
Plus, previously she's confessed that she'd only return "if a certain panelist were let go."
This is presumably relating to Katie Price, seeing as she controversially deemed producers "desperate" for hiring the model last year.
Speaking to Women magazine, Carol added: “I don’t know what she’s doing there. But she’s got a lot of Twitter followers, and they’re desperate for viewers. I can’t believe those women [panelists] are sitting with her."
