She welcomed her adorable rainbow baby earlier this month, and now Cara Kilbey has given fans a peek at Penelope Blu’s nursery.
Cara, 26, took to social media to show off Penelope’s gorgeous space – and it’s every bit as glam as we’d expected.
With expensive-looking white furniture, champagne-coloured walls and dark wood flooring, it’s a nursery fit for a modern day princess.
The fluffy white rug and life-sized teddy giraffe are adorable touches, and there’s just a hint of pink in the room.
Writing in her exclusive Closer Online blog last month, Cara revealed she and partner Daniel Harris would not be decorating the nursery in the stereotypical blue or pink.
The former TOWIE star said: “Choosing not to find out the sex of our baby hasn’t really made designing the nursery any harder. I love interior design, and pink or blue wouldn't be one of my colour choices.
“Let's face it; pink for girls and blue for boys is kind of dated. I have a certain style and I hope the nursery reflects that. It’s clean and minimal, luxurious but not too showy.
“I’ve gone for a pale pearly gold polka dot wallpaper from Brian Yates Upstairs Downstairs book, a large white plush rug (which covers most of the room) and the furniture I’ve always had my eye on is the Boori Sleigh Royale collection - thick, white, sturdy wood. The room matches the interior throughout my house and I can eventually add pink or blue personal touches when the baby is here.”
Last week Cara shared a snap of their first family photo shoot, showing her and Daniel proudly cradling their baby girl.
We don’t know about Penelope, but we’d gladly move into that nursery!
