Caprice EXCLUSIVE: ‘I was terrified I’d have post natal depression’

In this week’s issue of Closer read how the star battled raging hormones during the last weeks of pregnancy, and feared for her mental health

After struggling for years to conceive, Caprice was overjoyed to welcome son Jett into the world last August, a month after she had her first boy Jax via a surrogate.

The 42-year-old star told us: “I had crazy hormones and they were a real struggle. I’d see a dead fly and burst into tears, worrying if I accidentally killed it I’d go to hell.

“It was a real rollercoaster and by the final trimester I was terrified I would suffer with post-natal depression. I even saw a doctor to talk about it.”

Thankfully her hormones settled after she gave birth, allowing her to focus on her new job-being a mother.

The model also opened up on her struggle to regain her size-10 pre-pregnancy figure, saying she stuck to a healthy eating and exercise plan.

“I’m back at my pre-pregnancy weight,’ she says. ‘But it took me a whole year. Those women who say they did nothing to shed the pounds yet it dropped off within weeks of giving birth are lying.’
