New movie ‘The Other Woman’ sees Cameron Diaz join forces with her boyfriend’s wife (yup!) and his OTHER mistress to give their man his comeuppance.
Cameron says she had ‘so much fun’ making the empowering movie.
She told us: ‘I think that hopefully what we show is real female relationships where women help one another get through the most absurd circumstances, we can still help each other get past and ascend the higher road… after taking the low road for a litle while!’
Does Cameron think women do enough to support other women?
‘I think that there’s a good amount of us that do,’ she says. ‘I think that everybody has their journey.’
‘I feel like that’s the most important thing, to inspire and take care of one another. I hope that this (movie) will show women who don’t trust other women that they are able to.’
Cameron starred in the movie alongside the gorgeous Kate Upton, who has graced many magazine covers, including the likes of Vogue and Sports Illustrated.
Rather than feel threatened by Kate, Cameron and Leslie took her under her wing.
‘She’s our little lamb,’ Cam said. ‘We’re old enough to be her mother, so we are her mothers.'
Co-star Leslie Mann also spoke about the film: ‘It’s about three women who come together because of this man who is with all three of them. Instead of hating one another we try to teach him that he shouldn’t be doing things that way (laughs) we’re there to support one another.’
Happily married Leslie was particularly excited about sharing an onscreen kiss with hot co-star Nikolaj Coster-Waldeau.
‘I was excited because I’ve been married 17 years and I get to kiss Nikolaj… but when I went to kiss him I broke out in hives!’
‘I think I’m allergic to Nikolaj,’ she added, humorously.
