Cameron Diaz is known as one of the most beautiful women in the world (that smile!) but the famous actress had shed a little light into the realities of ageing often concealed in the celeb world, and it’s majorly refreshing.

There’s many expectations of youth and beauty us women feel pressure to live up to, which we can only imagined is multiplied by a thousand if you’re in the public eye. Let alone within one of the most superficial industries about – acting.

Hence why we love the There’s Something About Mary star even* more* for this bold move.

The 43-year-old posed alongside her new book, Longevity, and wrote:

“I'm so excited to continue the conversation because learning that you can age well, will actually help you age better.

“If you understand how your body works then you can take action to help keep it in the best possible condition so it can carry you through a long and beautiful life.”

Make-up free and natural, she still looks beautiful from were we’re standing.

And of course her 2.4 million followers absolutely loved the raw snap, and the adored-actress raked in over 57K likes. Fans were were quick to compliment Cameron.

“You look amazing, you are beautiful and natural,” said one.

And another follower commented:

“She's so natural... unlike 99% of the celebrities”

“You are gorgeous and inspirational!!! Thank you.”

“This makes me love her so much! What a woman!”

The author – who released her first book The Body Book in 2013 – expanded on her views on ageing on her site, and said:

“This time I want to talk about one of the biggest taboos in our society. AGING… I feel like aging has gotten a bad rap…I guess that’s what happens when you don’t understand something!”

“And what I found was aging isn’t about getting old it’s about LIVING… and I want you to live the happiest longest and healthiest life possible.”

Does anybody else feel super inspired right now?

As they said, age is a privilege denied to many. Isn’t that the truth?
