The 42-year-old Charlie’s Angels star invited fellow A-Listers Reese Witherspoon, Drew Barrymore and Gwyneth Paltrow along to the nuptials, which apparently took place on Monday evening.
Diaz and 35-year-old Madden confirmed to People: ‘We couldn’t be happier to begin our new journey together surrounded by our closest family and friends.’
The couple began dating just 8 months ago, moving in together this autumn. But it seems the pair knew things were meant to be despite their short time together - tying the not less than a year after starting their romance.
According to a source in the area, truckloads of flowers, heaters and other decorations began arriving at the property early on Monday, with neighbours being told Diaz was having a ‘Pre-Golden Globes party’ so as not to tip off the press.
Cameron, who has previously dated high profile celebs such as Justin Timberlake, Matt Dillon and Jared Leto, apparently celebrated her bachelorette party in an LA hotel over the weekend, and has been wearing an engagement ring since December.
She is already good friends with Benji’s brother’s partner Nicole Richie.
