Cameron Diaz may be a celebrated actress, but her proudest achievement doesn't rest in one of her acting roles - it lays in her very first book.

"She wants to stop their fixation on being thin, and for teenage girls to understand that being healthy is more important"

The beautiful My Sister's Keeper star was so excited when she received her first copy of The Body Book that she couldn't wait to share it with fans on Twitter, posing makeup-free and flashing her famous smile.

And she looked beautiful.

"One of my proudest moments! Receiving the first bound copy of The Body Book!! @thebodybook LADIES!! I wrote this book for YOU and YOUR BODY.. And I'm so excited to share it with you!!"

Cameron considers the book an act of giving back, according to a publishing source at E! News.

"She wants to stop their fixation on being thin, and for teenage girls to understand that being healthy is more important.

"She wants to use her celebrity to make a difference. She knows she is a role model to girls and she really wants to use that position to do good.

"This book is not about weight, it's about making the right choices."

The source also explained that Cameron was inspired to write the book after her father Emilio sadly passed away.

"Everything changed for Cameron after her father died. She realised what is important and started to think more and more about her health."

And, while Cameron will be passing down lessons gleaned through personal experience of healthy living, the book is not about her.

And, more importantly, it is NOT a diet of any kind.

"This book isn't about her. And it's not a diet of any kind. Of course, it's her own journey that has helped her realize what's important, but she wants the book to appeal to everyone, and not just be about her own food choices."

Sounds like a pretty inspirational idea; we'll have to check out Cameron's debut book ASAP.
