Kris, 59, divorced Brody's father last year, ahead of her sensational transition as Caitlyn.
Speaking to the Mirror Online, Brody admitted: "Kris and I don't speak. We just don't speak.
"It has nothing to do with me actively disliking her. I think she's just busy. Anyway, I have a mother who I speak to. I don't need two of them."
Former The Hills star Brody's frank comments come after he was forced to deny rumours that he'd cut off his famous step sisters Kourtney, Kim and Khloe Kardashian.
After he was quoted as saying 'They're not even technically my family anymore', Brody rubbished claims of a feud and insisted they'll always be his sisters.
He told E! News: "I love the Kardashian girls, I still consider them my siblings."
Brody shares two half-sisters with the famous trio, Kendall and Kylie, and he admitted he's grateful to them for looking out for the teens.
He added: "I think [Kim, Khloe and Kourtney] have paved the way… and have been able to teach them the valuable lessons about Hollywood and how to take it."
It was also reported this week that Brody is 'annoyed' over being portrayed as unsupportive of Caitlyn's journey and transition.
