Since they split back in 2005, fans of Busted have been left feeling less than hopeful about a potential reunion. This sentiment was felt particularly when Charlie Simpson claimed he would not reunite with former bandmates James Bourne and Matt Willis.

But in an unlikely twist, the band organised an announcement this week at the same London hotel where they announced their untimely split.

Following weeks of speculation, the band revealed that they are reforming for a tour in 2016!

The band are also working on BRAND NEW music, which is a treat to their fans’ ears.

Matt said about the reunion: “For me, there’s a huge sense of unfinished business… I always thought in my heart we’d do Busted again, but that it was just a matter of when and how.”

Since splitting, Charlie Simpson went on to found rock band Fightstar before releasing a solo record.

Matt Willis and James Bourne united with McFly to create ‘supergroup’ McBusted. They released new music together before touring the world as a 6-piece.
