Fears are rising for Bruce Forsyth after it was revealed that the TV host is even too unwell to attend his wife Wilnelia’s birthday party next week.
A source told The Sun, “He would have loved to be there. But it would be so wrong while he is still trying to get well.
“Recovering from a major operation is taking longer than anticipated. His health hasn’t deteriorated any further and we’re incredibly positive about him being about soon. We just need to be careful.”
Bruce, 88, was also unable to attend Ronnie Corbett’s funeral earlier this year due to his health.
In November last year, the former Strictly Come Dancing host underwent keyhole surgery after a swollen artery was discovered after he had a nasty fall in his home.
His wife claimed in December that it would take Bruce “one or two months to fully recovery,” but fears are now building amongst his fans.
As well as missing Wilnelia’s birthday bash, he’s also said to have “mobility issues” and is unable to leave his mansion in Surrey.
Bruce stepped down from his role as *Strictly *presenter in 2014, claiming he was too “tired” to continue with the role.
“I don’t have the feeling I usually get every time this year, knowing I’ve got to slog away until Christmas and then go away dog tired.
“I’ll feel very strange and I’ll miss it like mad, but when you’ve been with something for 10 years that will happen.”
We’re sending our well wishes to you, Brucey!
