Because that’s what we did. Brooklyn, 15, yesterday shared a snap of him posing with his Arsenal Academy team, looking the spitting image of a young David.
With his blonde, coiffed hair, Beckham good looks and the football kit, could Brooklyn BE anymore like his famous father?
David, 39, and 40-year-old Victoria’s eldest is a rising star both on and off the pitch, with him recently debuting his first ever modelling campaign.
It seems that retired footballer David, who also shares sons Romeo, 12, Cruz, nine, and three-year-old daughter Harper with Victoria, has succeeded in his desire to motivate his children.
Speaking to the Telegraph last year, he said: “My children are my motivation. Simple as that. I want to prove to them that if you work hard you can be successful.
“I have proved that over the last 15 years, after we had our first son Brooklyn, that I have always been a hard worker and Victoria is exactly the same.”
And David recently admitted that little Harper is already criticising his appearance.
When he appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Jimmy joked that David wasn’t looking his best.
David replied: “Funny you should say that. My little girl turned around to me the other day – I had just bathed her and I was towelling her down, and she said, ‘Daddy I love you so much. But I don’t like you, you’re so chubby.’ I mean, I didn’t think I was.”
