Is Brooke Vincent on Dancing On Ice?
Brooke Vincent was the first Dancing on Ice contestant to be confirmed!
The Corrie star announced the news in an interview on This Morning with Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, who are also presenting Dancing On Ice.
The Corri star revealed that she's taking part because she "loves a challenge and ice-skating is an amazing skill".
Brooke said: "I think I can dance [but] I'm a bit like a bull in the china shop. If I get injured at least I'll look sparkly on the way to the hospital."
She admitted that she found it difficult to keep her new role a secret, explaining: "It's killed me. It's actually killed me to keep it a secret."
The 25-year-old star revealed she's been preparing for her new role by going to the gym: "I've been trying to lose a few pounds to get in them leotards."

Brooke has admitted that her co-stars (Samia Ghadie who plays Maria Connor and Andrew Whyment who plays Kirk Sutherland) have already given her some advice as they've both previously appeared Dancing on Ice.

Who is Brooke Vincent's dance partner on Dancing On Ice?
Brooke Vincent has been paired with Matej Silecky, a 23-year-old American figure skater who studied Theatre and Dance at Berkeley. He was previously a performer at the Ice Theatre of New York, working there as an ice skater for three years between 2011 and 2014.
Brooke recently posted a heartfelt tribute to her dance partner Matej, sharing a super sweet snap of the pair having a laugh in training together.

She wrote: "Thank you for being patient with me. I promise I'll try and listen fully before I go off and try and do what you're asking of me wrongly, because I didn't listen.

"Thank you for laughing at my jokes. Thank you for getting up at 5am most mornings with me to train, thank you for moving 3375 miles away from your family & friends to be my coach... But most of all thank you for giving me 110% every day for the past 2 months.

Brooke Vincent on Coronation Street
Brooke has starred on Coronation Street as Sophie Webster since 2004, when she won the role from Emma Woodward who had played the character previously.
Brooke was just 12-years-old when she began her life on Coronation Street, playing 10-year-old Sophie alongside her on-screen sister Helen Flanagan, who began playing Rosie Webster in 2000.
Brooke's character Sophie has been at the centre of some huge storylines, most notably as being one of the soap's earliest lesbian characters. She has been nominated at the Inside Soap Awards, and has been recognised at the Stonewall Awards.
She also stars on the show with her real life cousin, Ellie Leach who plays Faye Windass.
