From 1999 to 2002, Britney and Justin were the darling couple of the pop world and, although they split amid rumours of her infidelity, it’s nice to see she can reflect fondly on their time together.

One of Britney, 33, and 34-year-old Justin’s most iconic moments came when they attended the 2001 American Music Awards dressed in co-ordinating double denim outfits.

Proving that their legacy lives on, Britney reposted an adorable snap of two kids dressed in identical outfits for Halloween.

As if that wasn’t enough, mother-of-two Britney sent the internet into meltdown by adding #britneyandjustinforever #FBF #AMAs #HappyHalloween #britneyween [sic].”

It appears the holiday had Britney feeling reflective, as she later posted a snap of her with a couple of fans dressed in outfits from two of her most memorable musical eras.

While one rocked the classic Slave 4 U look, another was dressed as ring master Britney from the Circus video.
