The singer, 32, admits that, while she is happy with how things are at the minute, if her situation was to change she would happily move back home.

She said: “I have thought about it, but I think right now is my time to perform and doing what I’m doing. If I happen to have another baby or something like that, I’d probably move back to Louisiana.”

The Toxic singer admitted that she misses her hometown a lot, and the simpler life she would live there.

She said: “I do miss Louisiana. I miss the people. I miss the food. I miss the way of life, how everything is really simple. There’s no traffic like there is in L.A. It’s really nice.”

Britney also revealed that she doesn’t want anything for Christmas and that she has everything she could ask for.

Speaking to a US website, she said: “What do I want Santa to bring me? I have everything. I’m so happy. I don’t need anything. I just want good health happiness and love.”

She might not want anything, but Britney revealed her son’s lists are a bit longer than hers.

“They want everything under the sun – iPad Minis, new phones. They act like they’re 27 years old. You’re eight and seven years old, you can’t have an iPad Mini and a phone!

“They’re into gadgets right now. They’re into games, computers and all electronic things.”

Although she may have thought about retirement, Britney is soon to start a two-year residency in Las Vegas.

The set-list for the show, called Piece of Me, was revealed this week and it features all of Brit’s hits, including Baby One More Time, Toxic and Slave 4 U.
