Following reports that Lucado cheated on the star earlier in August, Britney tweeted 'Ahhhh the single life' late on Thursday night, followed by a bizarre Instagram video.

In the footage, the blonde songstress says to the camera: 'Ok, if you're ever having a really really s***** day, find someone with shoes with hearts on them,' before turning the device around to reveal a brunette woman's cute footwear.

The 32-year-old Piece of Me singer was informed there was a video showing her boyfriend, 27, dancing and making out with another woman, and Britney quickly cut him off.

According to TMZ, the video was shot in someone's living room, and is currently making its way around Hollywood.

Things had looked to be going well for the couple, who had been dating for over a year. Just two weeks ago Britney shared a snap of the pair off on a 'date night,' and Dave was frequently seen out and about with Spears and her two sons.
