In March, it was confirmed that David Walliams and supermodel Lara Stone had agreed to a trial separation, just two years after the Calvin Klein model gave birth to their son Alfred.
And now, just a few months later, they have legally ended their five-year marriage with a quickie divorce.
According to reports, David Walliams - who famously stars alongside Simon Cowell in Britain’s Got Talent - cited Lara Stone’s ‘unreasonable behaviour’ as the reason for the divorce.
He also revealed, via the court papers, that he and Lara have not lived together since she moved out with his two-year-old son, Alfred, and their dog, Bert, six months ago.
He asked for a ‘decree nidi’, emanating their union will formally end within six weeks.
It was previously reported that David wanted a reconciliation but Lara was determined to make their trial separation a permanent move.
A source told The Sun in March: “David hopes it is a blip and that they can get the marriage back on track somehow, especially seeing as there is a child involved.
"He is still fiercely protective of Lara.”
David, 44, and Lara, 31, began dating in 2009 and, after a whirlwind romance, they tied the knot in a star-studded ceremony the following year.
Neither the comedian or the model attended the divorce hearing today.
