It’s only been a number of weeks since Ireland made history by voting for the legalisation of same sex marriage, and now the country is being treated to her first ‘celebrity’ gay wedding!

Big Brother star Brian Dowling will marry his long term partner in a romantic Irish ceremony TODAY.

Brian married Arthur earlier this year in London as they were uncertain how Ireland would vote in the same sex marriage referendum.

He explained to The Sun: "We did it in London as we didn’t know how the law would go in Ireland. We wanted to make sure we got it right.”

To the couple’s delight, the green isle voted an overwhelming ‘yes’ to equal marriage meaning that Brian can make an honest man out of his other half in his home country.

The wedding looks set to be a lavish affair with no cost spared. Brian and his new husband will be kitted out in designer suits as they walk down the aisle.

He raved: “All my friends and family are coming. Our suits are by Tom Ford they are tight fitted. Especially at the back."

Cheeky!

The Big Brother presenter shared several snaps of his wedding preparations, including a selfie with his excited bridesmaids.

He wrote alongside the pic: "Sssshhhh! I'm getting married in the morning. #wedding #fun.”

You might even recognise one of Brian’s bridesmaids- his Big Brother housemate and best friend Narinder Kaur.

Congratulations Brian and Arthur!
